Aloha Hawaii...

Régulièrement vous me demandez ce qu'est devenu le blog alors cette fois c'est décicé, elo se reveille et vous expose les photos de l'île paradisiaque...
.... Néanmois, le paradis ici est, ne l'oublions pas, américain!


Ici on tombe facilement dans le syndrome de Peter Pan!


Le cratère de ce volcan a servi à tourner le film "Blue Hawaii" avec Elvis Presley. Les iles Hawaiiennes en général sont très convoitées par les réalisateurs de films.






Les plages sont convoitées, elles, par les chanceux vacanciers.




Cette plage est la plus célèbre de l'île puisqu'il s'agit de Waikiki Beach!





Mais en bordure de plage, vous ne trouverez que des hôtels, des magasins et des restos.






En décembre, il fait chaud mais ce n'est pas pour autant que l'on oublie de fêter Noël. Merry Christmas!







Pearl Harbour est tristement devenu célèbre suite à la terrible attaque japonaise durant la guerre.








Voici le mémorial qui rappelle que beaucoup de soldats américains y ont perrit.











Mais changeons de sujet, Hawaii c'est aussi ses culture d'ananas. "Dole" Vous connaissez? Les 3/4 des ananas que vous achetez sont exportés par cette compagnie.



On trouve aussi du café sur l'île.




Et des touristes français qui font leurs malins sous les cocotiers et l'eau bleu turquoise




Je vous parlait plus haut des tournages de films, la photo ci-dessous représente la "Jurassic Valley" ou ont été tournées entre autre "Jurassic Park", "Lostr" et "King kong". Lost aussi a été tourné dans le secteur.

Pas besoin d'aller au volcan pour avoir chaud! Cet hawaien nous montre comment faire du feu, au centre culturel de la Polynésie.


Pour eux grimper en haut d'un cocotier est un jeu d'enfant.


Le "poï" est le plat local, fait à base de racine. Mais ça n'a pas beaucoup de goût!

Quant à moi, je sais m'entourer.


Départ pour l'excursion^en bateau pour aller nager avec les dauphins hawaiiens...
Les voici, c'est une des espèces les plus petites et ils sont connus pour leurs sauts de joie! Nager avec eux fut une expérience unique et extraordinaire!

Le dernier soir à Hawaii était le 24 décembre ... Nous nous sommes offert un repas de noel sur terrasse avec vue sur le coucher de soleil.
On a mangé du pain violet aromatisé à ...la noix de coco!


Ce post aura su se faire attendre, mais j'en profite pour vous annoncer une super nouvelle: John m'a demandé en mariage!!! Ce sera le 12 juillet 2008...
